Editorial standard

The working standard for editorial sign-off is simple: a claim in a strategy guide should be reproducible by the reader. If a guide says a particular technique works, a reader who tries it should experience the described effect. If they do not, the guide is wrong and needs to be revised. That standard — reproducibility from the reader's side — is what separates a useful strategy guide from a plausible-sounding one that does not hold up in play.
