DMCA & Copyright Policy

GameJadoo respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from users and content partners. This page describes our Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") compliance procedures for handling copyright infringement claims.

Our commitment

Filing a DMCA takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner (or an authorised agent) and believe that content on GameJadoo infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent that includes ALL of the following information as required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or authorised agent).
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing — including the exact URL on GameJadoo where the content appears.
4. Your contact information — full name, email address, mailing address and telephone number.
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Where to send the notice

Please include "[URGENT — DMCA]" in the subject line so we can prioritize your request. We aim to review and respond to valid takedown notices within 1–3 business days.

What happens after we receive a valid notice

• We remove or disable access to the specific content identified in the notice, typically within 24 hours of receiving a valid claim.
• We notify the affected user (if any) that we have removed the content and provide them with a copy of the notice.
• We keep records of takedown notices to prevent repeat infringement.

Counter-notice procedure

If you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address with:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the removal was a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your full name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the judicial district where you reside (or, if outside the US, of a federal court in any judicial district in which GameJadoo may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.

Repeat infringers

GameJadoo maintains a policy of terminating access for repeat infringers. If we determine that a user has repeatedly infringed copyrights, we will remove the associated content and take steps to prevent further access.

Trademarks and game names

Some game titles on this site refer to public-domain game formats (Snake, Solitaire, Sudoku, etc.) which are gameplay categories, not commercial trademarks. Where we implement gameplay inspired by a commercial trademarked title, we use distinct game names to avoid trademark confusion. If you believe a specific game title on our site infringes a trademark you own, please contact us at the email above and we will rename or remove the game promptly.

Fair use

We respect fair use, fair dealing and similar legal doctrines that allow limited use of copyrighted material for purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research.

Changes to this policy

We may update this DMCA policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law or our practices. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
