Who we are

GameJadoo is a small, independent HTML5 games portal that publishes casual browser games and short written guides about them. There is no big publisher behind the site, no VC funding and no big corporate team — it is a modest independent project run by people who like casual games and think the web still deserves a curated, no-download place to play them.

Every piece of writing on the site — game descriptions, how-to-play steps, strategy tips, blog posts and category introductions — is written or reviewed by our editorial team. We do not use AI to generate article bodies. We do not spin or paraphrase content from other sites. Where a claim can be verified by playing the game ourselves, we verify it. Where a claim cannot be independently verified, we do not publish it.

What we publish

Our editorial output falls into a few categories:

• Game pages — description, how-to-play, controls, basic strategy and FAQ for every game in the library.
• Category and hub pages — organised views of the library by genre or occasion.
• Blog posts — deeper strategy guides, curated lists, and explainers about specific games or the browser gaming space in general.
• Reference pages — glossary, FAQ, and review methodology.

Our editorial approach

The library is deliberately small compared with aggregator sites. Games are played before being added — not just picked from a category filter. Games that fail basic quality checks (broken controls, misleading ads inside the game frame, pay-to-win mechanics, content unsuitable for a general audience) are left off. For written content, our approach is described in the Editorial Guidelines and Content Standards pages. In short: originality, accuracy, no fabricated claims, and public corrections when we get something wrong.

Editorial roles

Rather than list individual profiles for a small team, we describe the editorial roles that any published article passes through before going live:

• Editorial Lead — sets the editorial calendar, signs off on pillar pages, edits long-form strategy guides.
• Game Testing — plays each new candidate game across desktop and mobile, runs our review checklist, writes the first-pass review notes.
• Mobile UX Review — checks touch controls, viewport behaviour and mobile performance for every featured game.
• Content & Structure — internal linking, pillar-page structure, and the "games like…" comparison series.

What we do not do

• No paid placements. Rankings on our curated lists cannot be purchased. If a game is on our "best of" list it is there because we personally rated it, not because a studio paid.
• No AI-generated article bodies. Editors may use AI tools for spellcheck, brainstorming or code, but article prose is human-written.
• No scraping. Guides come from playing the game, not from paraphrasing other sites.
• No fake reviews or invented ratings. We do not publish star ratings, aggregate scores or user reviews that we cannot back up.
