Color Quiz is a quick visual reaction game built around the famous Stroop effect. The name of a colour is shown, but written in a different colour. You tap or click the correct ink colour, not the word. Sounds easy. Plays surprisingly tricky — your brain wants to read the word, not see the ink.
The Stroop effect is one of the most studied phenomena in cognitive science. The conflict between automatic reading and deliberate visual perception is exactly what Color Quiz drills.
