Crowd Surfer is a runner where you grow a crowd of followers by collecting people on the way. The bigger your crowd, the more force you have to crash through gates and obstacles at the end of each section. Gates reduce or multiply your crowd — choose the right gates and your crowd snowballs into a real wave.
Crowd Surfer's appeal is the dopamine of watching numbers go up. Each gate that adds people gives an immediate "ka-ching". Each gate that subtracts forces a quick calculation — is this gate the better long-term bet, even if it costs people now? That micro-decision making is what turns a runner into a real game.

- Take the ×2 over +1 when your crowd is large. Multipliers compound.
- Avoid red gates when possible. Subtraction always hurts long-term.
- Centre yourself between gates. The middle gives shortest reach to either side.
- Skip risky pickups when low on people. Recovery from zero is rough.
