Punch Out is a rhythm-and-reaction boxing game in the spirit of the classic Nintendo Punch-Out!! series. You face an AI boxer with a predictable rhythm. Read the tells, dodge the incoming punches, and counter at the exact right moment. Land enough clean counters and you knock the opponent down.
The skill in Punch Out is reading tells. Every AI opponent has a small giveaway — a shoulder twitch, a foot shift, a slight lean — that precedes each punch. Spot it once and you can react in time. Spot it consistently and you can dodge entire fights without taking a single hit. That moment of mastery is exactly what the game is built around.
