Sudoku-4 is a beginner-friendly version of the classic logic puzzle, played on a 4×4 grid instead of the usual 9×9. The rules are identical to full Sudoku — every row, every column and every 2×2 block must contain each number from 1 to 4 — but the smaller grid takes the maths-test feeling out and leaves you with a pure, quick, satisfying logic puzzle.
For new players, Sudoku-4 is the perfect introduction to Sudoku-style reasoning. You learn the core moves — scan a row for the missing number, eliminate options inside a block, lock in a forced placement — without staring at 81 cells.
